[Lugstuff] Regarding a new Meeting Place.

All, has anyone checked with Maryland Hall (Old Annapolis High school - on
Chase St in Annapolis) for space?

I misread that as "administrators", however either reading of the sentence
would be no less true than the other (yeah I went there).

The workplace here can be refered to in no other way than "a politically
charged, cut-throat mess". Each "division" or "department" might as well be
a different country, each fighting over their toys, policies, and trying to
leverage their position against everyone else. If you ever want to work in a
truly "classed" workplace where each person in each position above you
thinks they're more important than the last, this would be the place. The
reason I don't need to hear your story isn't because it's bad, it's because
I have my own (not about clubs though, I didn't even bother with clubs).

That's a new one. I'll tell my boss that tomorrow. I've only heard "Any
Asshole Can Come" myself.

I will next time I get a chance to speak to him. Funny that you mention
creating new classes, because his Advanced Linux/UNIX System Administration
class just "disappeared" from the catalogue this semester. I've been trying
to get independant study with him but we contacted him too late so we'll
probably end up doing that during the spring.

C.) They have any openings in IT or related technology positions?

In closing, this is one of those jobs where NOT being a team player actually
gets things done quicker. As this e-mail is only going to get further into
"fire the fucker" territory though, I should probably move any further
stories off of the mailing list. >___>;
