[Lugstuff] Virtual meeting reminder May, 4 2020

[Annapolis Linux Users Group]

    I started experimenting with Linux in 2001, but I've never successfully installed a prog or app from tar (source, etc.).  Sometimes the prog just does not work, but other attempts have required a reinstall.
   More complete instructions would help, because everyone does not know the omitted steps.  Ordinary mortals wish the RFC required the inclusion of distro name, version, and a date on all documentation.

The next Monday LUG meeting will be virtual.
 
We will be using FreeConferenceCall.com to host the meeeting. Please download the client and be online at 7PM Monday. The meeting info will be posted to the list around 5PM on Monday. 'Free Conference Call' has Linux clients that can be run as a non-root user.
