Meeting: Oct 4 2010 ( SUSE speaking)

On Oct. 4th, the Linux Users Group will hear about the latest release of the SUSE Linux operating system for both the desktop and server. More than 5,000 applications are certified and supported on SUSE Linux Enterprise, a highly interoperability version that offers mixed Linux and Windows computing. Guest speaker Daniel Faile of Novell will outline how to take advantage of the Linux platform to securely run anything, anywhere and for less cost. The free presentation and Q&A runs from 7:00PM-9:00PM. Location: Mavenspire Inc. 53 Old Solomon’s Island Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
