Summary of Event:

Jared Smith, Fedora project leader, who will share his thoughts on
upstream communities and their role in the rapid release cycle of the
operating system and innovation on the desktop.

Smith is a popular contributor to Fedora, the second most popular Linux
distribution with 22,000 contributors.  He has helped with the
development of VoIP-based Fedora Talk, and participated with the
+infrastructure and documentation teams.

The presentation is free and there is time for Q&A!

The Linux Users Group is a monthly gathering at Mavenspire in Annapolis.
